Contemplate This

When I understand how small I am, I'm beginning to know the grandeur of my significance.

  1. You stopped me cold with this one. There's not a thing I can say. I'm reading something you might like to ponder yourself... for deep thinking, and honestly a little over my head... Annie Dillard's "Holy The Firm". It's a shot little book that packs a big punch, written when she spent two years in a tiny cabin on the Puget Sound pondering her questions about time, reality, sacrifice, death, and the the will of God. Very beautiful and powerful...

  2. It would be nice to feel more significant at my job. Since that is not going to happen, I think I need to try and feel more significant to myself. Thank you for the inspiration.
